CHAPTER 5 · BOTH EDITIONS

First contact that sounds like you

Build a small library of starting points. Each message needs a real reason, a relevant connection, and an easy way for the person to decline.

Put it to work

  1. Write three versions: a referral introduction, a response to an inquiry, and a reconnection.
  2. Example starter: You mentioned [need]. I have [relevant information]. Would it be useful if I sent it? Personalize before using.
  3. Save approved drafts as text replacements. For video, keep the message short, caption it, and check the destination before sending.

TRADE EDITION
