CHAPTER 13 · BOTH EDITIONS
Follow up on what matters
Follow-up works best when it connects to something the person actually requested. A weekly dashboard should show promises, timing, and decisions.
Put it to work
- Review people with an agreed next step and a due date this week.
- Send the useful item or answer you promised. Ask whether the timing still works.
- Record the result: next date, decision, pause, or stop. Remove people from active follow-up when they ask.
TRADE EDITION
Weekly dashboard
Track open proposals, decision participants, implementation concerns, and mutual commitments.
Starter files are ready to adapt. CSV files open in spreadsheet apps. Printable pages can be filled locally and printed; they do not save or submit entries.
DIRECT SALES EDITION
Weekly dashboard
Track customers and opportunity conversations separately. A CRM supports memory; it does not create permission to send messages.
